If not sitting or napping in the dining room, miao lounges in the living room lounge chair. He knows his mom is not here to scold him. ;)
The life and times of an ordinary housecat deluded into believing he is a pedigreed puss.
Last night, Miao was feeling hot and wanted to enter the air-conditioned room his human mom was in. Unfortunately, he was off limits. He tried to enter anyway, walking into the room nonchalantly together with his human dad. But his mom noticed him and shooed him away; Miao jumped and ran out. I saw Miao waiting outside the room and called to him to follow me to my room. We were walking together in the hallway when suddenly, Miao ran ahead of me, his thighs jiggling, and went straight to under my bed. He caught a lizard. He carried the lizard in his mouth and was heading towards his mom's room. I suppose he was going to offer the lizard to her. On his way, he put down the lizard for a second but the lizard ran away. He caught it again but its tail had been slashed by his claws. Miao picked up the lizard in his mouth while the severed tail just bounced and jiggled about. He laid the lizard in a corner and, seeing that it was now a less-than-perfect lizard, probably decided against gifting it to his mom. He just watched the lizard, eventually got tired of it, and made no motions to catch it when it ran away.
This morning, as his mom was getting ready to take a bath, she noticed an icky, tailless lizard in the shower area. It scampered away. Miao washes his paws off the whole deal.
