Second night of lock up.

Miao now knows why we keep him locked up in the bedroom. He heard his human nephews playing and screaming through the closed door and, in his mind, he's holed up in the bedroom for his protection. It's not that he's scared of his nephews, he likes them a lot but they can be rough and loud and bothersome at times. He now does not make any motions of wanting to leave the room and seems content just sleeping and looking out the windows.
