Happy 10th Gotcha Day, Miao!

Chairman Miao tumbled out of my friend's 4x4 and into our lives exactly 10 years ago today. Our wee little kitteh took his first car ride from Taytay, Rizal, to the side of the U.P. Faculty Center (where tambayans used to be), and hung out for a while in my org's tambayan before making the car ride across the metropolis. For the ride home, we put him in a box that previously housed a toner for an Apple LaserWriter Select 310. He barely fit into one-fourth of that box; if we still had that box today, he likely would barely fit into it at all. He slept for most of the ride home, only waking briefly to complain about Nanny's driving. Miao had the sniffles that day. On the way home, we stopped at the vet, who advised us not to let him get his shots first because the stress of moving houses might be a bit much for him already. I can't believe all this happened a decade ago. I love you, Miao. Happy Gotcha Day.
